Big Win for DBS at H&V News Awards

Derry Building Services scooped two awards at the prestigious H&V News Awards 2014 claiming the title of ‘Building Services Contractor of the Year’ and ‘Apprentice of the Year’ with their talented mechanical graduate Chris Makin.

 

At a glittering ceremony held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on Thursday 24th April the H&V News Awards celebrated its 20th Anniversary with over 1,000 of the most talented individuals and companies that the industry has to offer.

 

Derry Building Services saw off competition from seven other finalists to finish in the top spot with the judges commenting;

 

‘Derry Building Services is an extremely professional, enthusiastic company that has invested in apprentices and training.’

 

While Chris Makin outclassed apprentices from Westaway Services, TSB Building, JS Wright & Co and NG Bailey to take the title in his category with the judges commending him as;

 

‘very mature and dedicated, willing to take responsibility and his loyalty and dedication mark him out.’
