Center Parcs, Woburn, Open for Business

The £250 million development in Woburn Forest officially opened its doors to the public today.

 

Set in 365 acres of woodland in the heart of Bedfordshire the resort boasts 625 forest lodges, each specifically designed for families with open plan living and kitchen areas, along with two main public areas - the Village Square and The Plaza.

 

The Village Square consists of the Subtropical Swimming Paradise, which is heated to 29.5°C all year round, including a wave pool, toddler pool, family play area, Lazy River, Wild Water Rapids and three exciting water rides, along with bowling alleys, Guest Services, the Medical Centre, retail outlets and restaurants.

 

The Plaza is situated near to the lake and consists of sporting facilities, a children’s club, The Venue conferencing facility, exercise and fitness studios, pottery painting studio, a 75 bed luxury hotel and spa and further retail outlets and restaurants.

 

The Pancake House is located next to the lake with a small beach and The Boathouse.

 

Derry Building Services have provided the complete design and build of the mechanical, electrical, sprinkler protection and Public Health Services associated with the development.
