IES is a dynamic simulation software tool used to model a building and determine its energy performance. It allows us to assess the impact that the introduction of low and zero carbon technologies will have on the buildings energy performance.
SBEM (Simplified Building Energy Model) is a government software tool that is used to carry out a Part L assessment of a buildings energy performance and produce the buildings Energy Performance Certificate. This software tool is integrated into both IES and Hevacomp allowing us to build an accurate model of the building and carry out the necessary part L and EPC calculations.
We have modelled elements of our Building Services Design for over 6 years using the AutoDesk Building Design Suite CAD software package which includes AutoCAD MEP 2013 software.
We have monitored the advancement of 3D modelling requirements within the Construction and Building Services Industry and now operate both AutoCAD MEP 2013 and AutoDesk Revit 2013 dependant on the specific requirements of the project and professional team we are working with.
Our CAD department are proficient in producing drawings in both 2D and 3D.
